I stared at him with disbelieve.
'I don't think I understand you...' I muttered. Jeremiah sighed and layed his hand on my cheek.
'I must leave. I told you this before, but not things are getting worse and worse and
Imaldar needs my help now.'
He smiled at me. But I glared back.
'Are you some crazy idiot! There is nothing left for you but death when you go out there.'
It was diffecult to stay calm. How could he ever do something like this to me? Jeremiah frowned.
'Do I look like an idiot?' he asked with an irritated voice. I folded my arms.
'No, you look more beautiful then an angle, but you really act like an idiot.'
Again Jeremiah smiled. 'Thanks Cedeilia, but I must leave you now. Just promise me to not do anything
stupid and reckless.' Gently he kissed my lips. But I didn't actually kiss him back.
'You're still an stupid idiot... You told me you'd stay with me untill death parts us.
Is this how you want death to do something like that?'
With a sigh Jeremiah and I stepped apart. 'If I die, I die with a good reason. I must help
to stop the attacks. Don't you understand that? Imaldar can't do this all on his own.'
I just stared at him for a few seconds.
'Alright. Go. You should do that. Go out and die, if you feel that good about it.
I'm fine with it.' But meanwhile it was getting harder and harder to keep the tears
back from falling. Suddenly Jeremiah seemed very sad.
'Really?' His voice was shaking and I saw tears filling his eyes as well.
'No of course not! Stupid, crazy, reckless idiot!' Tears started to flow down my cheeks
as the Niagara Falls. Then I fell into his arms and hugged him so hard he groaned softly.
I snorted into his sweater. Jeremiah also stared to cry and hugged me back.
'I don't want you to leave Jer...'
We stood like that for a while; hugging and crying. Then Jeremiah released me and stepped
back.
'I will be back soon, I promise.' said Jeremiah. 'If I can get in contact with you I will.
Please don't worry.'
I shook my head, but of course I was worried as hell. With a little bit of effort I could
manage a small smile on my face. Jeremiah smiled back at me and then opened the door.
I kept on smiling and crying at the same time as he walked away. The sun shone trough the
trees and the wind was blowing peacefully. I saw how he dissapeared into the woods. As soon
as he was out of my sight it became very quiet. With a strange feeling in my stumach I closed
the door and turned around. I have lived with Jeremiah into this house for years. The house
seemed so empty now he had left it. I sighed and walked to the bookcase. Most of the books were
covered with dust and spider webs. Except for one; my diary where I wrote in daily.
The dark blue binding of the book was nicely decorated with silver. Gently I grabbed it away
from the dust and walked to the desk. With a flick of my fingers I turned the white candle on
which was already melted and quite short, because I had used it so many times. I opened my
diary to search for an empty page to write on. This book was getting thicker everytime I filled
another page with my thoughts. I was useful to be a Warlock sometimes, but life would have been
easier as a Human being. I picked a feather out the inkpot and started to write.

November 29th 1950

Dear Diary,

Well... Jeremiah has just left the house. He told me he had to leave so many times
before, but I was still broken when I heard it was time to leave now.
It was hard to say goodbye to eachother, but we both know it is necessary.
It feels strange to be alone... I have lived with him into one house
for almost one age long. Now Jer is gone, and I am very lucky if he survives. But of
course he is lucky then as well.

I just closed the door with an unknown feeling. Maybe I must see that feeling as a warning.
Maybe it is a feeling which predicts something... Something bad. I never had the power
to foresee something before, so I don't really know what to think of this feeling.

This won't be a page- filling story of my thoughts. I feel empty as the house I am at now.
Thoughtless like a sick old man who is waiting to die. I must prepare to leave as well.
I am not save when I am alone. Especially not in times like these. I need to get my stuff
and leave this house as we came into it; Old and abandoned. We are running into Kazan'Jiae
from time to time, but they know they can't beat Jeremiah and me when we are together. But
now I am alone, and very vunerable to the open world. I hope that I will be able to write again
soon... But now I must leave.

Love, Cedeilia.

PS: If someone else but me reads this, I am probably dead. Keep this and tell it to the others
in your village. When the war hasn't ended yet, you are all in great danger. Leave together and
only take the most necessary things with you. Be smart and take horses with you as well.
Armour your man and older children. Let everyone fight who is able to and all go to find
Imaldar. He will be able to provide you and protect the women and children.
Be blessed if something like this ever happens...

With another flick of my fingers I turned the candle off again. I stood up and grabbed my bag
from the table. I also picked some food from the cupboards. Some apples, dried meat, water, bread
and something special, which I should safe for when I am almost starving and out of my provides.
I put everthing into one bag, including my diary. I also grabbed my sword and put my blue cloak on.
In the corner of the room I saw my staff. Of course I couldn't leave without my staff, so I also picked
the staff. Then I opened the back door and immediately my horse Sadem came to see me.
She was black, with a white tail en manes. She always had her saddle on for cases
like this. I jumped on and Sadem started galloping as a hasty rabbit.

November 29th 2010

Dear Diary,

I have traveled far distances, fought many times and killed some Kazan'Jiae while I was on my way.
One time I was close to death, because one of those aweful creatures hit me in the face and my left
arm damaged as well. Now I can't see anything with my right eye anymore, and a big silver scar is
crossing my face from the corner of my mouth to my forehead. The Elves were able to save me from a
horrible death, but thank Heaven I made it.

It has been excactly 60 years now... 60 years since I wrote into this small blue book, 60 years
since I lived in a normal house, and 60 years since I saw Jeremiah for the last time.
I don't think he survived his journal. Luckily I did, but it still isn't all over yet.

I looked up for a short while. I was flying on a Ghidem, something of a mix between a chinese Dragon
and a black eagle. Those creatures are very fast end glide trough the air like a seal into the big open
sea. Suddenly I saw something coming up from the North. Were that... Houses?

I made it! I see houses coming up in the north. I came back to the big city alive and just a little
bit harmed. I will stop writing now. Tomorrow I will be completely safe and happy...

Love, Cedeilia

I grabbed the white bridles and whistled. The Ghidem screeched one time and then took off on high speed.
My hair was almost blown away by its speed. The houses became bigger rapidly and I saw lots of people
walking. I smiled the biggest smile I had ever smiled and started to go down. The wall around the city
was guarded very well. Some of the guards looked up when they saw me. Just a little bit outside the city
I landed and jumped of the Ghidem. I ran to the gate, which also was guarded. I put on my hood quickly and
grabbed my staff. Behind me I heard the Ghidem flying away again. With my head bown I walked the last part
to the gate. As soon as the guard saw my blue cloak they welcomed me friendly.                                                                           'Welcome back, Blue Wizard from the far east.' one the guards said. I didn't answer, because I liked to stay anonymous.              They opened the gate for me and I walked in. I looked around from underneath my hood and saw another guard. I stopped him by grabbing his arm.
'Take me to Imaldar.' I told him. The guard stayed silent for a short while. 'Of course, follow me.'
We walked trough the city, crossed many small paths and had to stop several times for some people. Most of the
villagers who lived here were Human Beings.
Then we arrived at the big villa. The guard nodded and walked away. A smiled again. Imaldars house... I had
never been so happy to see this house before. I thumped at the door. Immediately I heard some stubling inside
of the house. I heard a cracking noise when the door opened. I still didn't show my face. But suddenly someone
kissed me, and I reconized his lips. He survived as wel...

Chapter one

Please, say if you find any mistakes. My English is good, but not perfect :P

I grabbed my cape, pulled the hood over my
head and the golden belt around my waist.
In the middle of that belt there was a
medal, with some mysterious signs on it.
My staff was standing in the corner of
my room; it had the same signs on it as
the belt had. I was ready for it.
The meeting would start very soon and
I couldn’t be late. The search for old, homeless
people was also coming up again.
I bumped my staff on the ground, and just two
seconds later I heard that same bump. It was
just a lot louder. Those were my members, 47 boys
and girl who drink human blood, and tried to
survive on it. I smiled; they were ready for it too.
I jumped out of the window skillfully and landed quit soft.
I looked around. It was dark, and the city was quiet.
I started to run as fast as I could, I ran through some
dark alleys, jumped over boxed, avoided a mad dog, and
ran on again. After a few minutes of running I bumped
into a wall. That wall always blocked me. But drinking
blood has got its positive points. You get faster,
stronger, your sight will get better and your sense
of smell will improve too. It wasn’t hard for me to
jump over the wall, and when I landed on the other
side of it I looked up. There they were, all 47 of them.
‘Sorry for being late.’ I said. Everyone bowed their heads.
‘We all know that we have a new member for today.
I ask you to come forward, please.’ There was some
noise, some people moved away, and then a dark figure came to me.
‘Put your hood off.’
Gentle, pale hands slid out of their sleeves, and put off the hood.
It was a boy, he wasn’t very old yet. Seventeen at last.
He looked me straight in the eyes, and when I looked
back I couldn’t talk for a few seconds.
‘You are one of them.’ I finally whispered.
The boy smiled, and nodded his head. ‘What is your name?’
‘Marius.’ He answered.
Another smile showed up on my face, and I banged
on the floor with my staff again.
‘Everyone can go, look for food. Warn me when you guys
have found a pray.
Everyone ran away, Marius also wanted to leave.
‘Marius, wait.’ I told him. Marius stopped, turned back
and looked at me. ‘What’s up?’
‘I want you to bite me, you should change as much
members as possible.’
Marius narrowed his eyes and hissed. ‘You aren’t a Vampire?’
His voice sounded mad, and his perfect red eyes
stared furiously at me.
I stayed calm, and shook my head. ‘Nope.’
‘Not even a Half-blood?!’  he raised his voice,
and I shook my head again.
Marius was angry, furious! I’ve never seen someone
that mad in my life.
He disappeared very suddenly; he was gone in a rush.
I screamed and threw my head in back. I didn’t know
what he was going to do. He was able to kill the whole
clan if he was thirsty. I was desperate, if he did I
would lose everything I have. I tried to concentrate
on the others, but I didn’t hear a single one of them.
Suddenly Dave stood behind my back.
‘Where is Marius, Elaine?’  He asked me.
‘I don’t know.’ My voice sounded hoarse. ‘He ran off
when I told him we weren’t Vampires.’
Right on that moment I heard a scream. That must have
been Angela. There was no one else who could scream that
hard and high.  My eyes widened. ‘No…’
Dave stayed serious. ‘How many of that stuff do you still have?’
I grabbled into my inside pocket. There was just a little
bit Diapenol remained in the bottle I found in my pocktet.
‘Not enough to kill him…’

Story

Not just photographer, but also a writer.
I don't want to put my stories on DA as a deviation,
but I do want to put it on DA as a "journal".
So, a little introduction.

This story is telling about a girl, Elaine.
She is not an ordinary girl, not a Vampire,
not a Werewolf, but a "human Vampire".
Since she was 13 years old she is killing
forgotten, old people. When she was 14 she
discovered that she wasn't the only one.
So she decided to start a clan. A clan for
the Human Vampires. It's a cruel club, all
of the members are obsessed with Vampires.
The rules are strict, everthing goes and
everyone does as Elaine wants it.
But the whole thing changes when a new member
is joining The Clan.
